Letters from Chaplains

Dear Mr. Reed,

Greetings in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!
Just a quick not to thank you for the books that you sent for our spiritual libraries – I know the ladies are going to be inspired by your story!

Again, thank you so much for your generosity, and God Bless your efforts.

Sincerely,
A. Garcia, Chaplain, Gatesville Unit

Thank you very much for your generosity. I don't see people exhibit such kind behavior very often, especially not to those they've never met. You've made my day.

Sincerely,
Melissa McGill

Dear Mr. Reed,

I wanted to thank you for taking the time to send me a copy of your book, “Lost Identity: God Still Works”. It is ministries like yours that truly deserve credit for changed lives in our prison system. If I can ever be of assistance, please let me know.

God Bless,
Senator Dan Patrick

Dear Brother Reed,

I am writing to thank you for the gift of the "Lost Identity" books sent in the name of our most gracious heavenly Father, Lord and Savior.

These will be used to minister wonderfully to our 2,500 inmate maximum security unit.

May the Good Lord bless you for your concern for prisoners. Matthew 25:36.
Vance L. Drum, Chaplain, Eastham Unit

Dear Mr. Reed,

I want to express our deep appreciation to you for your donation of books. I believe with all my heart that we are involved in a great mission field. It makes my hear rejoice as I see the spirit of Christ as it is revealed in your unconditional assistance with this program.

May God continue to bless you for all you do, you have certainly been a blessing to our ministry here at the Huntsville Unit.
Larry Hart, Chaplain, Huntsville Unit

I could not put the book down. The intriguing twists and turns held me captive. You know, I thought, this really could have happened. For a book of fiction, it is so real to life. The story will challends you, cause you to remember that God has the power to reach anyone, that He is in control of even the most bazaar of circumstances and it will make you want to give a copy to a friend who is not saved. Well done, thou good and faithful servant.
Dr. Paul W. Carlin, Prison Ministry

Dear Mr. Reed,

First I would like to say "Praise the Lord!" and THANK YOU for helping us in the ministry of our Lord Jesus. I would like you to know a little about what we do here on the unit and how you have blessed us in a mighty way. Ferguson Unit is one of a few units in the State of Texas that has a ministry program where we actually help sharpen the tools God has given for His ministry. We do that through an abundance of discipleship classes and even a class to help train up ministers.

I have been a Chaplain here since 1991 and have had the opportunity to see the Lord move in a mighty way with these men. Your books will be of value in that we strongly believe in the transforming power of our Lord Jesus Christ, and there is nothing that is of greater encouragement than testimony.

We thank you and pray that our Lord will bless you for your generous contribution!
Gerald Saffel, Chaplain, Ferguson Unit
